This is a really juicy cake with a nice hint of chocolate in it. It is not too sweet like some of the cakes with a lot of whipped cream. Just add a cup of coffee or tea to it and enjoy your cosy Sunday afternoon.
Tips
If you want to, you can also add some powdered sugar on top of the cake before serving.
Hi
I followed the recipe exactly as provided. The ingredient proportions do not seem to be right as the mix is like cement. The cake also comes out rock hard.
Hi Kershini,
I’m really sorry to hear that, but I have no idea why the cake turned our so bad.
A friend of mine baked it exactly like stated in the recipe and I also baked it several times and it always came out perfectly fine.
i followed your recipe, and the recipe is perfect. It’s moist and perfect just the way i like it. My mom that specializes in bakery and cooking said it was one of the best cakes she had ever had.
